New Evening Menu Launch

Something exciting is coming to evenings at The Swan Inn.

From Tuesday 2nd June, served from 5:30pm, we’re launching a brand-new evening menu bringing the bold, vibrant flavours of authentic Jamaican cooking to the countryside — alongside the pub classics you already know and love.

From rich curried goat and slow-cooked jerk pork belly to crispy small plates, fragrant rice dishes, fresh tropical flavours, and proper homemade recipes full of warmth and spice, this is something genuinely different for the Newbury area. There’s nowhere quite like it nearby.

But don’t worry — we’re not turning into a Caribbean restaurant overnight. Our much-loved Swan classics will still be available on the evening menu, and our daytime lunch menu remains unchanged. If you fancy fish & chips, a burger, or your usual homemade favourite, you still can.

This is about adding something exciting. A chance to pop somewhere local and enjoy flavours you’d normally travel much further to find.

Whether you want a relaxed midweek dinner, a Friday night with cocktails and reggae vibes, or simply something a bit more vibrant and fuller of life, we think you’re going to love what’s coming.
